Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Books (4-5 years):

The Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten levels consist of three books for each stage: a student book, a workbook and a teacher’s guide. Lessons for these two grades are built so that the three books are integrated and coordinated, where the student book contains 8 educational units, and each unit includes several lessons, each of which presents one Arabic letter.

International Curricula Organization was keen on making the books within these two grades as family-friendly as possible, to enable children to interact and achieve the educational goals set out by the books. To achieve this, two delightfully childlike characters that live in realistic families appear in the books: the Bulbula figure in the Kindergarten books and the Katkoot figure for the Pre-Kindergarten books, both of which help bring the educational material closer to the hearts and minds of children.

The Kindergarten books prepare the student for the elementary school level by including a variety of writing activities, thus enabling children to master the core language skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing.

كتب الروضة والتمهيدي (4-5) سنوات:

تتألف كتب الروضة والتمهديدي من 3 كتب لكل مرحلة هي: كتاب التلميذ وكتاب النشاط ودليل المعلمة.

بنيت دروس هاتين المرحلتين على أساس الوحدات المتكاملة لتحقيق التكامل والتناسق بين الكتب الثلاثة، حيث يتضمن كتاب التلميذ على 8 وحدات دراسية، تضمنت كل وحدة عدة دروس، ويعرض كل درس منها لحرف من حروف اللغة العربية.

وحرصت مناهج العالمية على أن تحيط كتب هاتين المرحلتين بجو أسري مألوف للأطفال لتمكينهم من التفاعل مع الكتب لتحقيق أهدافها التعليمة والتربوية. فجاءت لوحات الكتب وأحداث حكاياتها وتدربياتها من خلال أسرة واقعية، ترافقهما شخصيتين محببة للأطفال هي شخصية بلبلة لكتب الروضة، وشخصية كتكوت لكتب التمهيدي، التي تنتقلا معهما من مكان إلى آخر، وتشارك أحداثها في سياق طفولي مبهج.

وتُهيئ كتب التمهيدي التلميذ لمرحلة الدراسة الابتدائية حيث تتضمن أنشطة كتابية متنوعة لتمكين الأطفال من اتقان المهارات اللغوية المختلفة من قراءة واستماع ومحادثة وكتابة.
