The book tells the story of "Dino," a small dinosaur with a long neck that other dinosaurs mocked. Nevertheless, his intelligence helps him in many difficult situations. This story develops within the child a sense of difference, its acceptance and the importance of dealing with those who are different with a proper attitude and behavior. This is done in a new and innovative way, whereby the drawings are symbols of words that the reader must guess in order to weave the story and complete it. This is aided by the simple nature of the Arabic sentence formation in addition to a vocabulary list at the end of the novel.
