Noor Al Islam: Level 4

This book comprises five educational units, each containing three integrated lessons that focus on essential Islamic themes. The content is presented in an engaging and age-appropriate format tailored to the learner’s stage of development. The topics covered are:

⦁ ‘Aqidah (Creed): Learners are introduced to Allah’s beautiful names and attributes, such as Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful), Ar-Rahim (The Compassionate), Al-Qawiyy (The All-Strong), and Al-‘Aziz (The Mighty). These lessons aim to strengthen belief in Allah, nurture love and reverence for Him, and develop a sound foundation of faith.

⦁ Fiqh and ‘Ibadah (Acts of Worship): Delivered in a practical, simplified manner, this section covers core worship-related topics such as Salah (prayer), Adhan (call to prayer), and Iqamah. Learners are guided in incorporating devotional acts into daily life, fostering commitment and self-discipline.

⦁ Qur’an: This section features selected passages from Surahs of Juz’ ‘Amma, along with simplified Tafsir. Surat Al-Mutaffifin emphasizes trustworthiness, while Surat Al-Ghashiyah encourages reflection on the universe and the Hereafter. These verses help learners develop a conscious relationship with the Qur’an and its ethical guidance.

⦁ Hadith: Learners engage with noble Ahadith that promote values such as the merit of congregational prayer and the prohibition of forsaking fellow Muslims. These teachings are connected to real-life conduct, reinforcing moral character rooted in the Sunnah.

⦁ Seerah: Presented in story form, this section highlights the exemplary lives of the Prophet ﷺ and his noble Companions. Events like the building of the mosque and the Battle of Uhud convey themes of cooperation, obedience, and steadfastness—deepening love for the Prophet ﷺ and inspiring emulation.

Each lesson concludes with a simple assessment designed to measure comprehension, encourage critical thinking, and promote practical application through carefully selected questions and activities. In addition, each unit ends with an educational Islamic story—drawn from the Seerah or Islamic history—that embodies one of the key Islamic values, reinforcing the concepts in the learner’s mind through a purposeful narrative approach.
