The third book contains 15 comprehensive lessons aimed at deepening students’ connection with the Noble Qur’an. It begins with key concepts related to Revelation. Students learn what the Qur’an is, why memorizing it is important, the purpose of its revelation to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and the names and attributes of the Qur’an. These topics help build both a thoughtful understanding and a heartfelt connection to the Words of Allah, the Almighty.
A special feature of this book is its clear and complete presentation of the five main articulation points used in Qur’anic recitation: Al-Jawf (the open space of the mouth and throat), Al-Halq (the throat), Al-Lisan (the tongue), Ash-Shafatan (the lips), and Al-Khayshoom (the nasal passage). These are introduced through visual and hands-on activities that support correct pronunciation and strengthen Tajweed skills.
The book covers selected Surahs from Juz’ ‘Amma, from Surah An-Naba’ to Surah Al-Fajr, completing the student’s study of the entire Juz’. Each lesson starts with Surah ID card that provides a brief introduction to the Surah. The verses are then presented with a Tajweed audio recitation by Shaykh Abdul Basit Abdul Samad. Following this, students learn the vocabulary of the Surah and read its overall meaning, simplified for children’s comprehension.
To ensure children can apply their learning, the book connects Qur’anic values to their daily actions. Moreover, a section titled “The Prophet Teaches Me” presents Hadiths relevant to each lesson. These Hadiths further enhance understanding and create a connection between the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Each lesson concludes with a range of activities, starting from simple exercises and gradually progressing to more challenging tasks. This approach helps children enjoy learning, think critically, and deepen their understanding of the lessons.
