Islamic Studies Level 8 (book from Weekend Learning Series), written by Mansur Ahmad and Husain A. Nuri, is basically for the 12-15 years old children who have completed the 7th level in this series. Students of eighth grade study this book in their formal Islamic class.
With the progress through Islamic studies curriculum, the authors have now introduced additional new topics with greater depth in this book. They have discussed several important topics that they did not cover in previous books. For example, the authors have covered topics like Importance of Home, Trials in Life, Duties Toward Parents, Friends and Friendship, and so on. These topics will help students build moral grounds in them. This book reintroduces some of the Important events from the life of Rasulullah (SM) in Makka with the aim of highlighting the abiding teachings that the students can learn from. Moreover, students will learn the history of the major battles as well as the activities of some of the non-Muslim living in Madinah. Furthermore, the authors have also covered topics on Islamic morals and values in several lessons.
