Islamic Studies Level 7 (book from Weekend Learning Series), written by Mansur Ahmad and Husain A. Nuri, is basically for the 11-14 years old children who have completed the 6th level in this series. Students of seventh grade study this book in their formal Islamic class.
With the progress through Islamic studies curriculum, the authors have now introduced additional new topics with greater depth in this book. They have discussed several important topics that they did not cover in previous books. For example, the authors have covered topics like Islamic Greetings, Istighfar, Guarding our Tongues, Amr Bil Ma’ruf, Lailatul Qadr, Life & Activities of the Prophets, Permitted & Prohibited things, and so on. They have also provided additional details about the lives of Adam (A), Lut (A), Ibrahim (A), and Yusuf (A), along with special emphasis on the morals from their lives. Further, they have discussed the stories of the Companions of Cave and Dhul-Qurnain based on information from The Holy Qur’an. Furthermore, they have discussed the life and activities of Abu Sufyan and Khalid and why they opposed Rasulullah (S). Student will also have some lessons on Islamic values and morals.
